At Seven Trees, we work closely with our customers through the entire process from design to production to final delivery and installation. Read on to learn a little more about each step in our process.
1. Design
We begin by discussing your project and providing you with a cost estimate. Then we set up a time for you to meet our team and tour our showroom for a more in-depth discussion about style, wood species, and finishes. We also schedule a site visit to get measurements.
We take these insights and develop 3D drawings and a detailed proposal for you to consider. Once your custom design is complete and you’re ready to order, we’ll create all of the necessary shop drawings and materials lists to complete your project. Once we receive your final approval, we can usually deliver your project in 4-6 weeks.
2. Build
This is where we shine. Our craftsmen will take your project from rough lumber to a completed piece ready for the finishing room with care and attention to the smallest details. Our stains are hand-wiped and sealed, and we always apply a catalyzed varnish, polyurethane or exterior finish topcoat. Then final assembly is completed, and the project is scheduled for delivery and installation.
3. Install
Finally, our in-house carpenters or one of our trusted subcontractors will install your piece. We work hard to maintain a clean job site and work quickly and unobtrusively while in your home or business. Most importantly, we don’t consider any job finished until you’re completely satisfied.
4. Ship
If you’re a builder, architect or general contractor, or a homeowner already working with a team of professionals, and plan to install your own custom millwork, no problem. We’ll happily ship your custom order to your location. We’ll also provide guidance and instruction to your installers to make sure the final installation goes smoothly and no detail is overlooked. We ship our work throughout the country, so no matter where you’re located you can enjoy the fine quality of Seven Trees custom millwork.
We’d love to learn about your project and discuss why custom millwork is a great option. Contact us today to learn more and get started.
